Decorating has been a life long passion for Nikole, rearranging and redecorating her parent’s home since she was eight years old.  Nikole has been a professional home stager in the Greater Toronto Area for over eight years.  After graduating the University of Guelph with a business degree, Nikole enrolled in a decorating certificate program at Ryerson University and has been decorating ever since.  She is known in the real estate industry for providing beautiful results quickly and efficiently at a rate less than most other stagers in the GTA.  She has always prided herself in providing luxurious results for less.  It is not uncommon for her clients to ask her to decorate their new homes after they see the results she produced in their home during home staging.  In addition to staging and decorating, Nikole has worked as a set decorator for several TV shows including the CBC's Steven & Chris Show, the W Network’s Pressure Cooker, CBC’s Best Recipes Ever, CBC’s Stephano in the Kitchen and HGTV’s For Rent.  She has also decorated many special events such as the Canadian Country Music Awards, the Gillar Prize and the Canadian Screen Awards. Finally last year, after working behind the scenes for years, she stepped in front of the camera and appeared on the Steven and Chris show for a segment on home staging.

Although decorating has also been a life long passion for Jacquelyn she began professionally home staging and decorating two years ago.  After Jacquelyn graduated from Dalhousie law school, articled at a top law firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia and was admitted to the Nova Scotia bar she moved to Toronto and began helping with her sister’s staging and decorating company.   However, as her decorating side job became more fulfilling and enjoyable than her original career path, Jacquelyn decided to follow her passion and join her sister, thus creating Rutherford Design. In addition to decorating Jacquelyn brings her excellent customer service, time management and work ethic to ensure that clients receive the best service throughout the decorating process.
